Boats

Amsterdam Boat Bookers is a company established in 1981, with experience in sailing, surfing and yachting.

We provide typical ships, so as gondolas, thai boats, salon ships, steamers, sloops, party ships for your tour and dinner on the canals of Amsterdam, tall ships, as Clipper Amsterdam, Europa, Wilde Swan, for training or exercise, SAIL exhibitions, traditional ships so as Dutch Sailing ships as Clippers, aken, Tjalken for your group from 10 till 50 for one day or week; also we provide modern sailing ships, in the Netherlands, Greece or Caribic.

If you need a ship for presentation, promotion, or regatta , a classic one, as Feadship, or a traditional famous sailing yacht as Shamrock V, or Orianda, please view our collection of classic sailing yachts that are available for sailing yacht charters throughout the world. Many of our sailing yachts were built in the early 1920s and come from famous designers and yards such as Camper & Nicholsons & Abeking & Rasmussen. And most of these yachts are equally at home either for 'gentle cruising' or for the more adventurous 'regatta racing'.

Not all our available ships are presented on this web site; give us a call or e-mail if you like to have more information about ships, prices and more!

We are glad to assist you for your sailing/ship project.
Our office is in the Centre of Amsterdam, just 2 minutes from the famous wharf "Het Kromhout" and ship Designer Dijkstra.

Please, when you visit Amsterdam, come in, and we serve you a "Dutch" Coffee or Scotch Malt !

Atalanta

Atalanta is a famous classic Feadship built in 1958 to Lloyds 100 A1. She is a teak-on-steel frames motor yacht built by "de Vries shipyard" a founder member of the Feadship organization, to a design by De Voogt. She was commissioned by Mr B.E.Ruys, who was an important shipowner in Rotterdam. She is now part of Dutch nautical heritage and is MCA approved.

Her present owners have undertaken a complete refit in 2006/07 fully respecting the authentic interior & exterior style of this important vessel. On the large romantic aft deck you will find a dining table for 10 persons and aft a full length sofa, immediately behind the wheelhouse you have a U shaped sofa and drinks table.. The salon is at the same level, has 4 easy chairs and offers a wonderful view in all directions, when she is cruising. For sun-worshippers there is plenty of space forward.

Downstairs forward, there is a large salon/galley area which was completely rebuilt during the refit. The Inside Dining and open Galley area offers a fantastic ambiance with the atmosphere of the sixties. The galley is fully equipped.

Downstairs aft, Atalanta is completely authentic with her very elegant and simple woodwork from the sixties. There is accommodation for 8, with 4 twin cabins and two bathrooms. Each cabin has a wash basin and individually controlled air-conditioning. The master cabin has two large beds & a bathroom ensuite.

Wishing Star

When it comes to a classic gentleman’s motor yacht, there’s nothing like a Trumpy – especially one like Wishing Star. Exquisitely maintained, with a handsome and impeccable interior, she is the ideal choice for those who appreciate traditional elegance afloat.

Accommodating six guests in one queen and two twin staterooms, Wishing Star is available in New England in the summer and Florida and the Bahamas in the winter. Having recently undergone an extensive refit, her varnish is sparkling, her paint is fresh, and her rich upholsteries, linens, and other soft furnishings are all new.

In the first half of the twentieth century, society’s most prominent members knew that owning a Trumpy meant you had truly arrived. The DuPont, Guggenheim, Morgan, Dodge, and Chrysler families all had Trumpy yachts. Even the famous Sequoia, the official yacht of seven U.S. Presidents (from Roosevelt to Carter), was a Trumpy.

The charming, experienced, and genuinely welcoming crew are dedicated Trumpy enthusiasts and look forward to sharing this sweetheart of a yacht with their guests.
